Family History Project

This collection of oral histories portrays the lives of pioneers and early settlers in the closely-knit communities of Alpine, Blue, Nutrioso, Eagar, Springerville, and Luna, NM in the late 1800s and first half of the 1900s.

This quilt was made for a raffle to benefit the Alpine Public Library, by Virginia Thompson of Alpine, and machine-quilted by Traditions Quilting. 

The name of the pattern is “America the Beautiful”.  Drawing will be on Saturday, May 26, at the Blast From the Past car show in Alpine.
